SAMPLING AND SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Submit your samples in 3 simple steps!

Obtain Your Sample

  • As the product is being loaded / unloaded, take a minimum of 3 grab samples cutting through the flow of product.
    • Avoid taking samples at the beginning and end of the loading/unloading process.
    • Avoid taking samples/scooping from the top of a load unless a core sampler is being used.

Thoroughly blend grab samples in a container and collect a sample from that blend into the sample bag, preferably at 4.5 x 9 WhirlPac sample bag.

    • Pre-labeled y 4.5 X 9” Whirl Pac sample bags with sample label can be provided, ask us how!
  • Fill the sample bag approximately 3/4 full.
  • Fold the top at least three times to prevent spillage. Please do not tape or staple the bags.

 

Label

  • Please fill out all sample information completely. This includes:

   Date (date the load was received or date feed was manufactured)

   Customer (your firm or the paying customer)

   Feed Mill/ Location (your firm or feed mill ID & city/state)

   BOL / Load ID (specific identification that the load could be traced back to)

   Supplier (the producer of the ingredient)

   Supplier Location (the city & state in which the supplier is located)

Submit

  • Complete the sample submission sheet. Please fill out completely bytransferring the information from the sample bags onto the sheet.
  • Use the mailing address on the submission form to mail your samples toour lab.
  • Mail your promptly to prevent sample degradation and/or spoilage.
